Here Comes the Rain Again

The sound of thunder started this Eurythmics song going through my head. It's appropriate. It's slightly vexing because the garden plants seem to be screaming, "Enough!" and showing signs from overwatering, but I wouldn't mind if the rain washed away some of this pollen. We worked outside yesterday and both of us are sniffly. Correction: he's sniffly, I'm miserable. Neti pot, here I come!

I've heard of the Neti Pot but have never used one. Is it as wonderful as they say?

We've had a lot of rain as well and I can smell that moldy smell just outside my back door. Yuck.

I'm so, so, so tired of rain. At least it hasn't been thunderstorms this weekend. :)

Latane, yes, it does work wonderfully. If I had been using it regularly like I should during this allergy season, I probably wouldn't be so miserable right now. All the sinus stuff took a while to build up so the neti pot isn't going to be able to resolve it in one use, unfortunately.

CPP, it took me a long time to finally try it but it does help.

Lythrum, I feel ungrateful complaining about the rain when we've had such drought the past few years, but the garden can only take so much water before it starts to effect the plants. That's what bugs me the most, I think. That and the fact that I don't have the book I want to hunker down with and read while it's raining, lol.
